what is the best car subwoofer brand for the money?

ive heard jl audio, cerwin vega, kicker, rockford fosgate, among others. but i know there are better subs out there. which is the best sub out there?

FI Audio, Image Dynamics, Alpine, RE Audio, JL Audio are some of the best. But, bang for the buck in my opinion goes to Alpine Type R. They have some new ones at techronics for $115 I think. These get pretty loud.

   re audio, digital designs, orion, mtx, DC audio….these are all good brand’s but RE audio and D.D. are very expensive subs but knock hard… kicker hit’s hard and i’ve had nothing but good luck with them… But i’m bout to get some level 4 15"s from DC audio, they are cheap and hit hard as hell like fi audio!

   Fi Car audio is way overhyped they make quality subs… but not for the price…

   My suggestion for a really quality system at a decent price would be

   Kicker: Begginer sub with little sound quality
   Rockford: Cheap chinese makes that really dont power handle like the should.
   JL: Great brand but quite expensive.
