   jl is a higher quality but overpriced, it can be outperformed by cheaper brands. i would go with rockford fosgate power series not the punch. if you buy mtx you have to buy the high end stuff because the cheap mtx stuff is worthless.

   all in all, if you have the money JL if not Rockford Fosgate.

   User preference. I personally have used Fosgate for 10 years and have had only one problem with a recall on a amp that was fixed in a matter of days. but JL is known for quality but is overpriced I feel. http://www.crutchfield.com is a great tool to learn and research.

   JL is a better brand then both rockford and mtx. the quality is much better, for both sound and build quality. but your going to pay for it. does this mean JL is the best? no, it means JL is better then Rockford and Mtx.
