I have 2 jl audio 500/1 mono block amp, and i was just curious some one who is experience audio installer can tell me how to hook the 2 jl audio amps together.
JL Audio is an awesome product I have JL Audio. Connecting amps is easy run the signal in from your radio to the input RCA’s on the first amp, the run another set of RCA’s from the output on the first amp to the input of the second amp.
You did not say if you were doing this for one sub or two. If you are using a single sub like a W7 it will be a dual voice coil you can connect each amp to each coil. just be observant of the polarity. The W7 takes a lot of power. now if it is for a pair no problem just hook it up like any other amp install.
If you are running the JL Audio amps and Subs it should sound pretty awesome. I have a pair of 10W3v2 with 250rms watts to each and they hit harder and cleaner than any 12" sub I have own in the past and that includes some MTX thunder 5000’s I had. Really impressed with JL Audio.
Good Luck!!!

i wouldnt know im not that cool.

your tring to double the power by running two amps? If so, this doesnt work, the power created by one amp will be cancelled out by the second amp.
