Dude, listen to Project, he actually knows a thing. Why the would JL put that monstruous surround on the W7 if it was a SQ sub? W7 is for massive excursion and for SPL purposes. NOW… that fact that JL’s still have good SQ while being a SPL sub is a different matter, but they are definitely SPL subwoofers.
