Im using a JL 1000/1. Im in the process of building a new 01 Xtreme blazer. I bought 2 13W7’s, 2 JL 1000/1’s, JL 300/4, 2 sets of C2 6.5’s, a set of 6.5 C5 Components, an alpine SBS 05-DC center channel speaker for 5.1 surround. a Alpine D-106 indash TV, a 270amp alternator 170amps at idle, air ride, 2 Kinetik Batteries, 10farad power cap, 1off custom 20’s from Lexani. custom paint and blue neons inside and out. ill post a video when its done. should be roughly in a month.

Ill set you both straight on this. Thermal power handling is NOT what you should set your amp at. Thermal means heat, the THERMAL power handling is where your voice coils tend to start heating up and puts the sub in jeopardy of being blown.

you can up to two 12w7s in the back with the seats up with the right box specs or 1 13.5w7 with the right box specs both being ported wich makes it alot louder
you can also put a 1000/1 amp in the side paneling where the stock sub was for a clean look all around and it wont even over heat
