what is better JL audio or Alpine?

ok, so im gettin my boyfriend 2 12" speakers for his bday and i was just wondering what yall think is better JL audio or Alpine? thanks.

in my opinion, if you got the money go with JL Audio. they are good subs but are way too overpriced. they mostly sell for the brand name.

alpine are great subs too but it depends on what exact model you get. the most popular is the Alpine Type-R.

   Go with JL audio. until now they have been one of the best but arent so famous because they are expensive. if you have the money get those. i work at an car audio shop and install both all the time. alpine sell because they arent so expensive but if used hardcore they’ll blow up. if you’re on a budget but want quality, go with the Kicker L7’s or Kicker CVX.
