How much of a difference is there between the JL w7 and the JL w6v2?

is it really worth the extra money to go with the w7?

imo, there is a lot of differnce. the w6 sounds badass. very good tight bass, and overall good SPL. the w7 doesnt sound as good but does go a lot louder. if you want the best of both worlds, go with 2 w6's. it will be about the same cost as a w7, will sound better, and be louder. but if you can find a hell of a deal on a w7, then take it.

good luck

much of the difference is in cost, the other difference is power handling of course the w7 being better and louder if you have the power for it…………

I personally prefer the sound anf output of the W6 better…. I don't like JL at all due to pricing… personally I think they are way over priced

    Good Luck

The JL W7 is one of the greatest subwoofers ever made, period.
Seriously, which other speaker manufacturer designs a separate motor structure for every different cone size made? None.

It is truly a piece of work.

    BTW, a W6 doesn't sound better than a W7.

I have two w7 12’s and I prefer them to my old w6’s any day. I got my w7’s off ebay for 300 a piece but the amps are still too expensive.
