Is the JL w7 worth the money or can I find a sub just as good for cheaper?

Absolutly! One of the best sounding Speakers I have heard. But If you just want something to make your trunk rattle, Then go to a pawn shop. I hear they always have deals.

   It sounds good but if you looking to do comp I would go with Kicker’s solo x. It cost a little more but it totally worth it

   If you are looking for a better sounding woofer…. I would go with the Fi Q, or the Stereo Integrity Mag D2

   Both of those in my opinion sound a lot better then the W7.

   both get louder as well

   go with "kicker guy", the Fi Q or the SI Mag D2 excelent subs and cost well more then half of what the JL is and there way better
