This is my older subwoofer made by my self! Made in 1.5 mm hi polished stainless steel (looks like chrome)and it plays over 146.4dB @ 52hz! But in this video you can’t hear how loud it is, the camera does not catch that. more info http://mobile.jlaudio.com/gallery/detail.php?vehicle_id=77

JL subwoofer excursion test

JL subwoofer excursion test. These are 6 JL Audio 10w3 dual voice coil at 6 ohms each. They are in two different boxes due to the fact that one big box would not fit. Three of them are version 1 and three are ver 2. The song is the MTX subwoofer test track. You should be able to find it for download. OCAC 06′ 1st place. The amp is an older MA Audio 3500 High Current runnong 3500 RMS, not peak. Tested and verified at 144db by Adam Grendel, College Station Texas. Whoop!!!
