JL is the best manufacturer of car audio products, yea they are expenesive but so worth it if you have the money.

JL Audio is better. Not the best, but good. Over priced in some people's opinion. I wouldn't buy HiFonics now days. The older (Series VIII and earlier) was good.

The JL is ok, and hifonics is bad. The JL slash series have issues over heating and breaking easy. I would look elsewhere all around.
